Description

A band of eleven people from Forest Grove was under the direction of Professor Frank Thomas Chapman from Pacific University. Members of the band included piano player Earl House, violin players Druwell Chapp, Miss Lowell, Chas Walker, Miss Kessi, cello player professor L. Hiebel, bass player Mr Ostrauder, trombone player Mr. McNeil, and clarinet players Mr N. Livingston and Mr. W. Livingston. The group toured throughout the area in December 1911 taking them from Forest Grove on the 12th, Vancouver,Washington the 14th, Portland the 15th, Hood River the 18th, The Dalles the 19th, Washougal, Washington the 20th and Troutdale the 21st.
