A group of nine female Pacific University students in dance costumes, forming a can-can chorus line. This photograph is dated on the verso March 4, 1978. A backdrop behind them features images of the Wright Brothers' airplane; 1978 was the 75th anniversary of their first flight. See photo PUApic_009316 for a different group of girls performing at the same event in the previous year.
This performance may have been a part of the annual "Gay Nineties" celebration in Forest Grove.
