The bell tower is open, with a hipped roof and a railing around it. Power lines run from the building out of the picture, and power poles are visible in the background. Set immediately against the church to the right of the image is a white gabled house with a single dormer window, set above a small covered porch. A wooden fence runs to the left of the image from the edge of the church. More houses of various sizes and kinds are visible in the background, including one square roofed building to the left of the church. Bare branches are visible on some trees and bushes.
