Minutes of conference meetings of the Methodist Episcopal Church's Forest Grove Circuit in western Washington County, Oregon. The minutes cover quarterly meetings held between 1877-1879 in Forest Grove, Cornelius and Gaston. A special report is also included on a dispute concerning the hiring of Minister Vandersol by the Methodist and Congregational chuches of Forest Grove, in opposition to the wishes of the rest of the Methodist circuit members. This document is part of a record book compiled between 1854-1884 by several different Methodist circuits in Oregon, centered on the Forest Grove and Hillsboro areas. The record book was found in a building on the southwest corner of Main Street and Pacific Avenue in Forest Grove in 2021.
