A large group of male students pose in a field with shovels, rakes and other landscaping tools in Corvallis, Oregon. A handwritten caption notes that these are the "O.A.C. Juniors"; in other words, juniors from Oregon Agricultural College, later known as Oregon State University. This photograph is printed on postcard stock and includes a brief note addressed to "Miss Bernice Sears". It is postmarked May 29, 1909. Bernice Sears is the sister of Winnette Sears Walker. This photograph is part of the Charles Lovell and Winnette Sears Walker Collection. Winnette was a 1906 alumna of Linfield College. Charles was an alumnus of Tualatin Academy who later became a musician and an insurance agent in Hillsboro, Oregon.
