Richmond of 1000 Friends of Oregon regarding expressed concerns over the actions of the Health Division and Department of Environmental Quality in relation to a planned festival at Rajneeshpuram. The Governor assures them that the Rajneesh Foundation has only been given a permit for the temporary mass gathering and has met all Oregon Department of Environmental Quality standards relating to land use.
