Lyle Arthur Galdeira, class of 1977, had an article written about him in the 1979 Pacific Today alumni magazine. Galdeira graduated from Pacific and began his career at radio stations throughout the Portland Metro area. The article, on page 26 of the Fall 1979 issue, discusses how Galdeira uses an airplane for his traffic reporter at KGW radio.
Tom Miles was a theater student at Pacific University from 1960-1964. Miles died in a car accident in the spring of 1964. Miles' parents, Dr. and Mrs. Thomas K. Miles Sr., funded the renovation of the campus theater after his death and it was renamed the 'Tom Miles Memorial Theater.' The accuracy of the picture's date is unsure, but it states the picture was taken on April 3, 1964.
