Oregon State Senator Victor Atiyeh, Republican candidate for gubernatorial nomination, gestures at a news conference. He discussed his proposed tax limitation on residential property to three percent of a family's gross income. 'This plan will achieve results, it will give real relief to the middle income property owners,' Atiyeh told newsmen. The money lost to local governments on property tax could be made up by use of state general fund revenue.
