The women wear their hair up in loose buns, and two have lace collars, one a large lace yoke, and the other wears a narrow tie. Their dresses are gathered at the waist, and have long, full sleeves. Mrs. Fanny Friday was born in Switzerland, but emigrated to the United States with her family and settled in Wisconsin. She married Nicolas Friday there, and in the early 1880s they moved with their children to the Dairy Creek area near Banks.
