She is seated by a microphone, which based on a related image, was connected to a recording device that was being operated by Professor Arthur Wilcox. Her face has been blurred and her name (which is written on the original slide) has been omitted to protect her privacy. This is one of a small set of photographs which appear to show research on speech and/or speech interventions, overseen by Pacific University speech and communications Professor Arthur Wilcox.
