Attendees at a reception for Pacific University alumni in October 1979, probably held during Homecoming weekend. The man in pale yellow is Douglas Stewart (Class of 1961). The man with the tie is Pacific's President, James Miller. The man in blue has a name tag that reads "French," but his first name is not visible. The photograph was likely taken in Washburne Hall. The original slide has a handwritten note: "By Elwyn Williams." Williams apparently took the photo, but he was also in the ceremony: he was the Vice President of University Relations and per the newspaper, took part in the event.
