Mike Brinkman, Director of Pacific University's AV (Audio-Visual) or "ALERT" Center, and another man who was probably a staff member, working with a machine: most likely a media-reading or duplicating machine. Another man is in the background, along with a a Telex Viking 235 CS-1 tape duplicating machine. This photograph was taken on Pacific's campus in July 1978. This is one of a set of photographs that appears to have been posed in order to demonstrate the range of work that was taking place in the audio-visual department of Pacific University.
