Description

A Pacific University professor, possibly Jacob B. Salomon, talking to another person while in an office in Carnegie Hall at Pacific University. Salomon taught English during (at least) the 1975-76 academic year, according to the college's yearbook. On the desk, there are Oscar and Emmy award statuettes -- presumably replicas, though they could be authentic. The original slide, which was printed in May 1977, is labeled "M. Scott". According to the university's student newspaper, Mike Scott won third place in a color slide contest that was held in that month, sponsored by Pacific's Admissions Office. The theme was to illustrate "campus activities or university related events" (The Index, May 13, 1977, p. 2).
