Description: Dr. Albert "Hap" Hingston, a Speech professor at Pacific University, in his office. A typewriter and many papers are spread across his desk, while a shelf packed with books appears behind him. The original slide, which was printed in May 1977, is labeled "M. Scott". According to the university's student newspaper, Mike Scott won third place in a color slide contest that was held in that month, sponsored by Pacific's Admissions Office. The theme was to illustrate "campus activities or university related events" (The Index, May 13, 1977, p. 2).
