Pacific University students at a Haumana O Hawai'i (Hawaiian Club) social event on the back patio of a house. This photograph was likely taken at the home of Professor Fred Scheller. Scheller was an advisor to Haumana O Hawai'i, and appears to have hosted many social events for Hawaiian students around this time period. Based on other images of the same event held in prior years, this probably took place in the fall. The original slide was printed in January, 1973.
