Pacific University students at a Haumana O Hawai'i (Hawaiian Club) event in the fall of 1970. They are identified on the original slide from left-to-right as: Marge Teruya; Sue Uetake; Mia Akau; Oveta Puaa; Vicki Nicassio (Class of 1974); Carolyn Querubin; and Wanda Fountain (Class of 1974). This photograph was likely taken at the home of Professor Fred Scheller, who lived in Aloha, Oregon. Scheller was an advisor to Haumana O Hawai'i, and appears to have hosted many social events for Hawaiian students around this time period.
