A woman identified on the original slide as "Mrs. Scheller", the wife of Pacific University Professor Fred Scheller, eating watermelon with students John Wainwright (middle) and Kenneth Kubota (right). This photograph was taken in Fall of 1970, probably on the back porch of the Scheller family home in Aloha, Oregon. Professor Scheller was an advisor to Haumana O Hawai'i (Hawaiian Club), and appears to have hosted many social events for Hawaiian students in his home around this time period.
