One of the subjects is identified in a handwritten note on the original slide as "Jane [R--h?]."This photograph appears to have been posed, possibly for usage in a university publication. It may have been intended to illustrate literature studies at Pacific: the man holds a book titled "A Concise Guide to Composition," while posters on the bulletin board relate to writing "Themes".
