Testimony of U.S. Congressman advocating for his bill, H.R. 4503, before the Sucommittee on Select Revenue Measures of the Committee on Ways and Means on November 9, 1979. In his testimony, Congressman AuCoin explained how H.R. 4503 "provides that certain indebtedness incurred before 1965 will not be treated as aquisition indebtedness for purposes of applying section 514 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 to certain sales during 1976." Congressman AuCoin stated how the legislation would help an issue the Tillamook, Oregon YMCA was facing.
